About this item
A corded hand planer for taking a thin shaving off doors, window frames, shelves and rough-sawn boards. The depth knob sets how much comes off with each pass, and the front shoe lifts or lowers to match.
Shavings leave through a side outlet that takes a dust bag, or a vacuum hose with the adapter. A parallel fence is included for straight edges, and the depth stop lets the planer cut a rebate up to 10 mm deep along an edge.

Took a few millimetres off two warped interior doors in one afternoon. The depth knob has clear steps, the base is flat and the shavings go into the side bag without much mess. The fence helped me keep the edges straight.

Thanks, Marek. Glad the doors are sorted.

Got it for my dad, who fixes everything in the house, and he is very happy with it. Lighter than I expected and not too loud. It came packed well.

Thank you, Ioana. Please say hello to your dad.

It does what it should. I used it on pine shelving and then on an oak window sill. The oak needed three passes on the smallest setting but came out smooth. I would expect to change the blades after a lot of hardwood, which is normal.
Reply from Sparrowyard
Thanks Gábor. A spare pair of blades is in the box.

Works well and the cut is clean. Only thing is the cable: 2 m is short when you work in the garage, so you need an extension lead. Otherwise happy with it.
Reply from Sparrowyard
Thanks Veronika. The cable is 2 m, as listed, and an extension lead solves it.
